Thanks to you, not only were you able to stop my artwork from being illegally used and sold, but I’ve been keeping an eye on “Pokemon Tee Store” in the past week since this started, and it seems like they’ve taken down much of the artwork that they likewise stole from other artists! I’m sure that was a direct result from you guys, so feel good about yourselves!
Talks with the Pokemon Tee Store are on-going, but I hugely appreciate the efforts that everyone put in - they really had influence. I’ll keep you guys posted if anything new turns up.
I’m very grateful for the support that I received, and I can’t thank everyone enough!
A very kind person recently notified me that one of my favorite pieces I painted last year has been stolen and is being illegally sold without my permission, apparently as a limited edition set of phone cases.
This is my painting:
Which was a commission for the awesome
The pages listing the artwork are these two here:
1. On Facebook: www.facebook.com/2145709689399…
2. On TeeChip.com: teechip.com/depmehon#id=1000&a…
As of this writing, there are about 14 hours left in this limited edition "campaign."
You can also see that they've edited out my watermark.
Not only is this an artwork I painted, but it is also a cover for 1MrGray's story, and features his character. A character who has his own personality and history behind him.
I do not have a Facebook account, so I can't post a comment there myself, but yesterday I sent an email to both "Pokemon Tee Store" and TeeChip.com's support emails. After it was pointed out to me, I also just now sent an email to TeeChip.com's copyright infringement email address.
I am seeking to remove the posts by this “Pokemon Tee Company” that are illegally using, selling, and profiting from my artwork.
If anyone could possibly write a short comment on this company's Facebook page or on the post linked above, letting them know that the artwork is stolen, and perhaps linking to my DeviantArt submission, I would be very grateful.
I hesitated writing about this publicly since I already sent emails to the respective companies and am waiting for a reply. But after hearing the advice and concern of other artists and friends, I’m opening up about this, in case there are others who have also had their artwork stolen and illegally sold by this seller.
In addition to their Facebook link, this is their store's website showing more of their products: PokemonTeeStore.com
Please notify any artists you recognize, as I'm sure they would appreciate it.
Thanks very much to anyone who sees this or writes a comment!
